  1. Fill the water bottle half way with filtered water (make sure the water is clean), the amount of water will of course depend on the size of your bottle. Keep in mind, you want to add enough to lessen the effects of the essential oils, but not too much that will not allow the effects to hold up.
  2. Once the water bottle has been filled properly, add 10 to 15 drops of cedar wood oil and rose geranium oil respectively.
  3. Replace the cap on top of the bottle and shake well to ensure that the mixture is will distributed through the solution.    
Spray the mixture on pets, outdoor furniture, clothes or skin to repel the fleas and ticks that are effecting your loved ones. It is safe for dogs in the house and children that are petting these animals. Make sure to use before every venture outside to ensure proper efficiency.    

For the second natural remedy, apple cider vinegar is also another simple home remedy to repel fleas and ticks that causes irritation to your dogs.  


To make this anti-tick remedy you need only 3 things as below:
  1. A spray bottle (plastic)
  2. Apple cider vinegar (get the organic, raw unfiltered one)
  3. Warm water    
Here is how easily you can make it: 
  1. Mix one cup of apple cider vinegar with 1/4 cups of warm water, mix the two ingredients into the spray bottle, replace the cap; then shake well to make sure they intertwine well.    
  2. Spray on all items that you wish to repel fleas and ticks from. The ingredients are completely safe to use on animals, direct skin contact, and children.
The solution will have a faint spell of apple cider vinegar, it will be strong enough to repel the unwanted bugs, but not powerful enough to make others not want to be around you or your pets. For best results with this homemade remedy, spray on before every venture outside.
